Remember that popular Kelly Clarkson song, Miss Independent? I remember the first time I heard it, I felt like I had heard the tune of the chorus from somewhere else before. It sounded strangely familiar.. I couldn't quite place my finger on it..

Well, today it came to me. It just all of a sudden came to me, like.. out of the blue, a chain of lightbulbs lit up, one by one. Lol. The song which I thot had a similar chorus was the Beyblade song, Always be in the Game, from the English Beyblade V-Force soundtrack. No wonder I had a hard time placing my finger on it; I hadn't listened to any Beyblade songs for a very long time. (But today, I was able to figure it out all of a sudden.. So freaky :S)

Anyway, the chorus I'm talking about is the "What is this feeling taking over?" from Miss Independent and "Always be in the game and keep rolling" from Always be in the Game (xD).

My baby, Kynxtasy, is taking me quite awhile to code T_T I keep wanting to implement these useless functions. And then I keep changing the code cuz I want it to be consistent & short & w/e and blargh.

I was working on the comments form validation 2 days ago. I coded it 3 times! I first did it w/ php, cuz that's just how I've always done it in the past - everything w/ php. Then I thot.. hm.. shouldn't I do the form validation on the client side as well? Lemme just say.. I hate.. javascript.. I'm just not familiar w/ it at all! I had to keep checking the syntax.. I had trouble w/ the most basic stuff.. like how the hell do you make an array? Concatenate a string?! I even had to google how to write an if else statement.. I kid you not.. cuz in php you can write "elseif" and I wasn't sure if it's "else if" in javascript or what.. I was confused.. ya.. =_=

Anyway, here's an unfinished form validation code.. only showing the html & javascript, not php part. I recoded the whole thing again using sth else (I did say I recoded this thing 3 times =.=u) so I'm not actually using this. Sharing it in case someone wants to try it out xD O ya, what it does is, when someone clicks on a required field (name, email or comments), then moves to another field w/o filling anything out (or doesn't put a valid email address for the email field), a message beside said field will show up. Hum.. I'm not really good at explaining (we all know that, I'm sure) so just see for yourself :/ Fyi, the script doesn't do anything more than that.. cuz I decided to recode the whole thing before I got to finish all the functions xD

The past 2 weeks have been hecticccc w/ AE + 2 midterms + a quiz + assignment all squished into this short span of time... I had only managed to finish like 1 new pic for AE (not including the mascot pic). I just got a new dA account:

There's also a website which I'm working on right now (prollie won't be done till another.. few weeks xD) So ya, as you can see, I'm kinda starting over again... New name, new accounts, new website, etc. etc. :D

Um... I think that's it for online life stuff.. I could prollie elaborate more on my plans for the new identity & site & whatnot, but at this point, not much has been worked on... (I haven't even started adding stuff from my y!Gallery to dA orz)

People have been phoning and phoning non-fucking-stop today, and even coming to the house ringing the doorbell repeatedly for some fucking odd reason I can't figure out! And what do I do? I ignore them, of course. I doubt they really have anything THAT urgent to say anyway. Actually, it's because I know what they want that I don't answer. Not in the mood to deal w/ ppl, ya know? This is seriously pissing me off a lot. I think it makes sense to say that, since this is my house, I have the right to not answer the door or phone calls if I choose not to. But no. No, I can't walk around the house freely or play any piano or music in fear that some of the idiots might see me and be like, "Yes! Someone is home! *phones & rings doorbell like crazy*". I probably sound all psychotic (or just pms-ing) but it's true.. I don't mind being social once in a while. However.. sometimes I just want people to fuck off! Especially when they keep phoning and ringing the doorbell! It's like they just don't get the msg that no, no one is home (or no, no one wants to talk to you right now so you should stop being a nuisance and _go_away!) Omg! Thankfully they're not banging on the door too. I hate ppl who knock, instead of ring the doorbell. But white ppl like to ring the doorbell AND knock their knuckles off all the time.

Sooooo awesome!!!! This is my first Star Trek movie (have always been too cheap to watch movies before =.= that and also none of my friends are into sci-fi) and I am so glad I went to watch it! Franco was right this time; the actors were definitely well chosen xDDDD I am so in love with James Kirk. My friend liked Spock better for some reason.. haha. Srsly, Kirk is so cool in the movie. He was all cocky and cute and.. Caucasian...and (extremely) good looking! How can anyone NOT be attracted to him? And omg, even tho this is a totally straight movie, I couldn't help imagine the possibilities of gay rapes happening throughout the movie. Lol. Like in the Narada when that Romulan dude had Kirk by the neck and told him he was weaker than he expected a human to be.. Ya, I effing loved that part. There was totally an opportunity for gay rape there. Lol. And also the part where Nero had Pike strapped down and was threatening to put that thing in his mouth.. yup. I could totally imagine him raping him there.

Anyway, I love Kirk.. did I say that already? Ah, I did. Oops. I love Kirk!! The whole movie was made of awesomeness. Um.. as usual, there were parts that didn't make sense to me at all. For example, the design of Narada.. it looks so badass (as it should since it is supposed to be the "bad guy's ship".. lol) but very impractical and non user-friendly. But oh well, who cares as long as it looks cool, right? Another thing.. the idea of this red matter is so vague.. it kinda makes me think of dark matter, except this thing is literally red. Like a ball of red.. Couldn't they have been more.. imaginative w/ the representation of this red matter? x_x

I've never liked a movie enough to watch it twice, not even outside the movie theatre. So.. I'm pretty surprised that I actually want to watch Star Trek again. I wonder if it's just me.. and cuz I love sci-fi so much.. Most of my friends' reaction to Star Trek was, "Ugh. Star Trek?" Or, "Come on, it's Star Trek. How good can it be?" Or simply, "I don't want to watch Star Trek." Lol.

While I was looking at m/m novels yesterday, I found this news (well, not really news as it happened nearly a month ago) about Amazon de-ranking GLBT books. Doesn't this just piss you off? Like I shopped for BL stuff on Amazon before because bookstores here only carried het stuff. Now I don't want to shop at Amazon anymore.. I just have to figure out.. where else I can buy the books from =_=;;;

Speaking of homophobia, ya know those homophobic ppl on youtube who likes to watch gay vids and then bash all homosexuals? I see them all the time, and I just have to make sarcastic comments back at them. Usually those ppl are stupid straight guys who thinks the only ppl watching those gay vids are gay guys. And so.. naturally they think I'm a gay guy and insult me in ways they think would insult a gay guy. Just a couple days ago, this guy told me if I watched het couples I might become normal. And then he went on to say Japanese guys had small dicks (for some reason he thot I was Japanese). And then when I told him I was female and fucked guys, he called me a hermaphrodite. To be more specific, he said I was CLEARLY a hermaphrodite cuz I talked like a man. *rolls eyes*

Sometimes I wish I could just be an average straight person blissfully unaware of any homophobia that's going around.

O..m...g.... I can't believe what I'm seeing @____@ The marks for the final 322 paper are out (ya, the one from a couple weeks ago which caused me a lot of pain) and I actually did pretty good! No, that's what I thot at first, but when I looked at the statistics of the whole class, I was the only person who got in the 81-90 range. Which means, I didn't just do "pretty good", I got the highest in the class O________________________O Now that is... shocking... SHOCKING!!! I mean, srsly, did the TA make a mistake? I did sweat blood writing that piece of shit, but it didn't even turn out to have 3500 words.. I think? Actually, I don't remember. I do remember I was like pretty disoriented by Sunday and I wasn't sure if my logic made any sense. I was so tired from writing I couldn't even write a 150 word abstract so I just recycled part of my conclusion. Lol. Anyway, what a surprise.. I guess I don't suck all that much at writing. Maybe I was convinced by some ppl that I suck at writing and so I started to believe that I suck at writing! Ahhh!

Last night among the many dreams that I had, I remembered this one where I was in the open lap w/ M (or whoever was there) bashing the model my teammate made, and then I found out she was like a couple of computers away from us.

Anyway, my right hand still hurts a lot T_T Omg, I can't believe how stupid I was yesterday. Some time during the night, M started applying makeup & fake eyelashes & hair extensions and curling her hair. I wonder if this is what a lot of girls do when they're drunk.. o wait, I'm a girl too... All I did was try to curl my hair tho, and that was when I did what I consider now the most retarded thing ever -- grab the electric hair curler by the iron part (which is like what... 200 degrees?) instead of the handle. I remember right after I touched it, I dropped it to the floor, and M was like, "Did you grab the wrong end? It's like an iron." Ya, it certainly was... I wonder if the skin will heal...

I still haven't finished my 351 assignment yet. I just had to go have some alcohol instead cuz I missed alcohol :D

That's right! No more writing about automation, and no more researching on why pornography on the Internet should be regulated. Omg, speaking of the debate... I was so nervous.. I could feel myself having trouble pronouncing words like "pornography" and "sex". I prollie sounded like a crazy feminist with all my talk about porn degrading women and such.

Anyway, I never expected writing my 322 paper to be so painful. I really hope I don't have to go through that again. My 351 assignment is due today, but I haven't touched it at all since Friday. Somehow, I don't stress over 351 as much as I used to anymore. I'm just happy that my 351 paper (and debate) is over and done w/ :D When Michelle saw me after my 322 class today, she said I looked cheerful. Lol. Well ya, why wouldn't I be, after finally having finished a paper which I slaved away for 3 days writing. (Actually, the real slaving away didn't start till Sunday. Sunday was when I really didn't do anything but write.)

I should probably go take a shower now and then do my 351.. but no.. I'm gonna continue reading Darling 2. I prollie won't be able to finish 351 at all since.. Michelle said their whole "group" failed in completing the assignment despite having pulled an all nighter.

As I mentioned already, I'm going to the Girugamesh concert at Sakura con next Friday. I should be very excited about going to my first real jrock concert, but I'm not. There's just so much work that I need to do before Monday, I'm starting to worry if it's even possible for me to finish it all on time. I'm like... kinda stressed out. Usually when I have lots of school work to do, I have no time to worry about other things.. and that's good. This time however, I kinda still worry about other things while stressing out over school stuff at the same time. And then I think about Sakura con. And then I think about my 322 exam after that. And then I think about another 3 months of school. And then I think about another YEAR of school. Ya. I need a break. So like there are AE and Yaoi Fest in between and stuff.. but... so many of my friends are going away to like Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Japan, etc. etc. I wanna go to the Disneyland in Tokyo too T____T

Ya, so back to the present. I'm only at ~900 words for my paper. My aim is not even the minimum 3500 anymore.. it's 2500. If I can get at least 2500 words, I... will be able to stop stressing out over my paper so much. And then there's the debate. I'm hoping.. to write as much as I can tomorrow, so I can focus on my debate on Sunday.. Maybe I just shouldn't make slides.. I need to fit 351 into my schedule as well. Programming is so much more fun than writing or researching. Technically, I also have 337 and 333. But uh... for me, individual work takes precedence over group projects :D Well no, it's just that both 337 & 333 are due after Monday, while everything else is due on Monday.

Ok, you know what? I'm gonna go do my 351 now.

O, and silly D-Trix is so funny. Usually when the winning contestant is asked to say a few last words, they say things like, "Follow/live your dreams!" But during D-Trix' final speech, he was like saying how being on stage was already a dream for them, so winning is a dream on top of a dream, and that "you can live your dreams but you can also live a dream after a dream." I was like lol.. that totally killed the moment =_=;;

I need $39 US nooooow!!!!!!! I was trying to preorder D'espairsRay's Redeemer album and I was almost nearing the end of the transaction when I decided to back out... cuz $39 US -> $50 CA is just too scary... and I ran out of US $ in my paypal account T_T No way am I gonna take out $50 CA, ok?... Not that I'm saying Despa's new album is not worth that (tho you have to admit, $50 for a CD+DVD is a bit much), I'm just pissed at the exchange rate. So.. ya, I'll have to somehow make that money as US $... and then I can get my Despa album + posta!!!

I really love their new look! Or should I say old look... They went from uh... their "light" side (as they call it) back to their "dark" side. Lol. Altho I didn't exactly hate their Brilliant/Kamikaze/Horizon look, I do think they're better off being uh... dark. I guess they realized a lot of their fans liked their old look better xD And another thing... did Zero and Karyu switch looks or sth? Cuz didn't Karyu have like the hat & stuff way back in the day? Or sth? Zero looks really good and all.. but um.. I think Karyu would look better in Zero's outfit =.=;;

Quest Crew is awesome! They are srsly teh best dance crew. I just love them so much <3 I watched America's Best Dance Crew just to see them after all (and I had to go thru 2 seasons of crap dance crews trying to find them) x_x There's no doubt they're gonna win.. Beat Freaks is pretty good but frankly, they are no competition for Questtttt! Quest Crew is so creative w/ their choreography. Even the music they made for this week was better than Beat Freaks' IMO. Lol.

I actually thot there were a lot of good dance groups this season.. like Ringmasters & Strikers All Stars. I would've liked to see them stay on the show longer, but noooo, the judges had to keep picking Fly Khicks. I thot Fly Khicks was kinda mediocre. Everyone was like sooo impressed that they finally had female groups in the top 4 ="= The thing is.. the female groups in the past seasons just plain sucked.. It's true. The fact that there were like no good female groups in the past seasons might've helped Fly Khicks make it this far cuz honestly, there were other groups which I thot were much better than them.

Anyway, Quest Crew rocks \^_^/ I can't wait to see more of them next week!

I think I really need to go work out. I ate chocolate ice cream today.. and then drank chocolate milk shake.. at like midnight! And bcuz of that.. I'm still up at 1:36am... and I wanna go read some more of Junjou Romantica =.=

America's Got Talent is seriously fucked. (And ya, I know it's February and this show aired half a year ago.) A lot of the acts that I liked (and thot were much more deserving to be in the top 10) were eliminated.. In the beginning I knew the show was gonna be a joke, but I didn't think it would be this messed up ="=

What I really... really can't believe.. is how Kaitlyn Mayer is still there... Honestly, I don't even know why the judges put her thru into the top 40 to begin w/. She can't sing! She's off tune like 90% of the time x_x God... I know she's only 4 years old, but that's... exactly where the problem is! If she's only 4, and she sings like every other 4 year old, then what the hell is she doing in the top 10?!! What exactly is her talent? Singing like a 4 year old? Being a 4 year old? Ppl can be sooo blinded by cuteness sometimes.. I hardly ever find little kids cute, so I guess that's why I really can't understand why she's still there.

Even tho the judges kept talking about how much variety the show's got, they ended up w/ 9 singers and 1 musical act in the top 10. Now I see why American Idol is so popular..

Anyway, I should start working on the 337 poster & 322 paper. SFU Connect is still down. Wow...
